FSA Saturated Fat Campaign Materials Update
Following our previous communication about the Saturated Fat Campaign, please find below further details of the campaign support materials that will be available and information on how to order them.
Also attached is a campaign guidance document, which gives an overview of the campaign, together with suggestions of how to communicate these messages effectively to consumers.
PDF examples of all the consumer-facing materials are available below:
- Saturated Fat Booklet - this booklet highlights the health messages around eating too much saturated fat and provides tips on how to eat less.
- A4/A3 posters of press advertising - these posters demonstrate our top tips for reducing saturated fat intake. (Please note that there are 11 press ads in total. All 11 ads will be available at A4 size and four of them will be printed at A3 size.)
- A5 Saturated Fat Quiz flyer - this can be used as a tool to help engage with consumers and test their knowledge on saturated fat.
- A5 Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe flyer - the aim of this leaflet is to promote the bank of healthy recipes available on eatwell.gov.uk and it contains a lower saturated fat recipe for Spaghetti Bolognese.
- A5 Eatwell Plate flyer - the Eatwell plate shows how much of what you eat everyday should come from each food group.
- Eatwell postcards - these postcards feature our 8 tips to a healthier diet (including sat fat reduction).
- Which/FSA shopping guide - these cards provide a guide for checking the content of saturated fat, fat, salt and sugar on nutritional labels on food.
- Suggestions for regional and local delivery of the FSA’s Saturated Fat Campaign

They should be available to order can be ordered from the week commencing 19th January 2009, however please be aware that these materials should not be used until the Tuesday 10th February, when the campaign will have been officially launched.
