Travel information
Location
The Riverside Centre is located on Pride Park, Derby's major business and retail centre, and is close to the city's railway station.
If you are travelling by car please note that if you enter the Riverside Centre postcode (DE24 8HY) into your SatNav you will end up on the other side of Pride Park so we recommend you use the directions provided above.
We are keen to promote the use of public transport for the conference, and car sharing where public transport is not a viable option. We will be offering all delegates the opportunity to offset their carbon footprint by making a small donation to The Woodland Trust charity on the day of the conference.
After the conference, we will calculate our carbon footprint journey and will be asking all delegates to complete a short form on the day, detailing how they travelled to the conference and their approximate mileage.
Directions from the railway station
The walk to the Riverside Centre from Derby railway station is very easy and takes less than 10 minutes:
- Leave via the Pride Park exit from the train station (NOT the main forecourt where the cafes and ticket office are located)
- Walk along Roundhouse Road to the roundabout with pride Parkway
- Go straight across at this roundabout and onto Riverside Road (David Lloyd Health and Fitness will be on your left, the 'egg' banking centre will be on your right)
- Walk along Riverside Road for about 400 metres and the Riverside Court is on the left.
